adobe cs 4 computer freezing when printing

->> How much open space on the primary drive? If there isn't enough space for the spool file or the swapfile can't be written then things will hang. One solution may be to have the program write directly to the printer and bypass the spooler. This is slower but lets you bypass the spooler process AND the associated file.

Check to be sure that you have the most current driver. Has this combination ever works for you? Are you connecting USB FW Ethernet or some other method? Will other programs print to the device?

What kind/brand/model of printer?
