->> Ok never done this so I want to ask you guys how you do it. I own 4 Canon 1D's. I want to take the picture and have it appear on my powerbook G4 thats loaded with Photoshop CS4.
I am assuming you need a fire wire so how do you get the photo to appear on the screen once it's been taken? |

->> Jesse - don't use the method in your avatar. It doesn't work all that well.
Are you wanting to remote capture to your powerbook or take the photo from a CF card to your powerbook. |

| ->> Use EOS Utility. It's pretty straight forward. And yes, you need a firewire cable with those cameras. I shoot tethered for commercial work and set it up to dump straight into Lightroom. Do a google search, there are some pretty good tutorials out there. |

->> As Shane said, on the 1D you need FW and EOS Utility to download directly to your computer. You can then use PhotoMechanic or Bridge or Lightroom to watch the folder the images are going to for display.
Canon's DPP should work as well. |

->> I have built software for sale which allows for real time viewing of your images on wi-fi capable devices (cell phones). The images are tainted and are easily ordered. The next version (V1.6) is out within the week. Watch the Flash movie for an overview.
