->> I'm looking for a case to carry three monoblock type lights and my 13' stands. Any suggestions? The collapsed length for the stands is 42.5" . So the case would need to carry 3 lights, 3 stands, cables, umbrellas and accessories.
Thanks,

| ->> If you have the money, the Kata Palms-series makes a really nice wheeled soft case. Just search for "kata video lighting" on bhphoto.com |

It's the Photoflex Multi Kit Case. You'll see that most of the "cons" on the B&H reviews are that it's too big and too heavy when loaded, but I like how much it holds...not necessarily for those who need to do a lot of lifting of the bag, but with wheels and a bit of upper body strength it hauls a lot. |

->> Stew, you may have trouble finding a case to fit the 13" stands and your lights, that is user friendly.
I use a Photoflex Single kit case http://tinyurl.com/y8mypel for a pack and 3 head dyna-lite kit, (3) 10' stands and a large softbox.
The photoflex cases are excellent car cases,I can easily fit 3 in the trunk of my Jetta and still have room for more gear. They are also very affordable at $139, however for what its worth, I wouldn't fly with them.
I keep the 13 footers in a padded tenba car case with a bunch of other grip gear.
That is what works for me, Hope that helps! |
