->> I was digging around the Nikon web site and they aren't supporting snow leopard and older scanners. Any recommendations for generic software or setup. I'm not set up yet with Parallels or Boot Camp.

Have you tried using Preview? That's how I use my document scanner now that HP and Snow Leopard aren't playing well together right now.

->> Nikon Scan 4 is running just fine on 10.6.1 for me. Scanner is a Coolscan 5000.
