Go to About this mac in the apple menu: then more info under hardware: chose the USB ports. you should see your device there. if not, try moving to the other side, restarting etc. But honestly I've had better luck with mics using the audio in jack next to the headphones. that always works.  This post is:  Informative (0) | Funny (0) | Huh?
