| ->> THAT IS FRICKIN COOL!! Way to go Robert! Finishing work on my own 1500 frame time lapse project/monstrosity, he deserves a huge pat on the back. 5000 frames, pretty impressive. I like the beginning with the crowds outside the stadium particularly. The 360 degree rotation is a very cool technique, like that very much. |

->> i don't think it's a time laps.... New Yorkers are naturally that fast!
but, joking aside.... that was really nice! i like when the cam pans and you see the time laps that way. |

->> It turned out great. I see he incorporated a bit of tilt-shift in there as well. I'm currently planning a "game day" time lapse of my own coming up here in a couple weeks and was also estimating over 5000 frames. This just serves as further inspiration and proof that it can be done. :)

->> I LOVE IT!
I have yet to see anything shot by Robert that wasn't amazing, brilliant, inspiring.
Mark my words-this guy is going to win a Pulitzer some day (soon).

->> Thanks for all the very kind words. Easy there, Debra....let's not get ahead of ourselves!
Max, in the time-lapse, I showed my photos at 24FPS, so 5,000 images is just enough for about 3.5 minutes. In my experience with time-lapses, I've found that shooting more data is better because you never know if you'll prefer to cut the beginning or end. In general, keep gathering footage so you have as much content as possible to play with in post-production. Better to have too much than too little! Good luck on yours!
Thanks again for your remarks.
Best,
Robert |

Did you use some sort of motorized device for the panning, or is it done manually? |

| ->> I find the inclusion of a few scenes shot tilt/shift interrupts the continuity of the piece. I didn't feel as if it was done for a reason, just done. No offense, the overall video is great! |
