team headshot banners

->> A booster club I shoot for has asked me if I could do banners to hang around the gym of the varsity boys players. I told them I was sure it was something I could do, I would look into it, and get back to them with some pricing. Now I am at a loss. What they are looking for is something around 3 to 4 feet wide and 4 to 5 feet tall. Will have the players photo, number and name on the banner and will be hung around the gym on a railing all the way around the gym about 20 feet up. They want it on either fabric or vinyl. Well, I have searched google, SS, and a lot of the labs I have used, but can not find anyone who offers printing like this. Does anyone else do this, who do you use and thanks!

->> Why is the answer to Carl's question such a secret? Assuming there is more than one source for such a product, what's wrong with the rest of us benefiting from the information, too?

->> Dave,

It's not that we don't want to share with members, but the forum is open to the public. Revealing pricing can cause problems for our mark up. In addition, we don't need to educate customers where our products come from.

It's just like having a discussion about selling NC double-A championship photos is probably not a discussion that should have so much transparency. They have Google too.

->> It's called competitive advantage. My competition lurks here and *I'm* not going to put that info out there for him to contact MY supplier then offer the exact same product for $2 cheaper.

If they find it through hard work and diligence that's great but I'm not gonna help someone in my back yard that is taking money out of my pocket.

To backup what Delane said, its not a secret its just protecting those who will sell to their clients not reveal their cost vs. sales price.

Email me if you want more information.
