->> I've used Shutterfly the last several years, mainly because I can't justify printing 500 or more calendars at a time, which seems to really be the only way to get print pricing down. Shutterfly has bulk order plans, but the most you can get the price down to is $10/calendar if you pre-order 50 at a time.
It's thick, sturdy material and the image quality is okay. The biggest drawback I found in recent years was that full bleed images weren't an option, but now it looks like you can finally do full bleed in their custom layouts. One word of warning: if you upload images to Shutterfly make sure to turn off the Vividpics "auto color correction." It can brutalize your photos.
If anyone else knows of less expensive outfits that don't require massive bulk orders but are better than Kinko's quality, I'd love to hear about 'em too. |

->> As Max said, price per calendar depends greatly on quantity. If you need 500+, four-color printing will probably cost less than digital printing; it's the opposite for smaller quantities.
I use MWM Dexter for four-color work. |

| ->> I'll chime in on Shutterfly. Good work, easy to use. I generally run about 15-20 each winter and have had really good results. If doing a bunch you can pre-pay/order a bulk of 20 for about $10 each. |

| ->> I used mycanvas last year. They are a little more pricey that I would like to see, but they offer great customization with background colors, themes, layouts, etc. as you are building the calendar and a good quality product. I have been looking at Shutterfly for this year since they are cheaper, how many options are there when building the calendar when compared to mycanvas? How about the quality of the calendar itself? |
