5D Mark II Video Viewfinder for Video
Ross Dettman, Photographer

->> I'm interested in reading what others have to say about LCD viewfinder options for the 5D Mark II.

I'm aware of the Hoodloupe 3.0 and the Zacuto Z-Finder V2 but wonder about other options. I'm open to all choices.

I want a tool that will assist with critical focusing and composing and that will work well in bright sunlight.

Thanks in advance.

->> The Zacuto Z-Finder has made a night and day difference for me. I would have bought it for the improved ergonomics alone, but my follow focus accuracy has gone way up. here is another option though http://lcdvf.bigcartel.com/

->> Check out Bruce Dorn's site www.idcphotography.com. He makes a great viewfinder as well as a lot of other cool gear for DSLR video and still shooting.
I've had great success using his "Run and Gun" set up on my 5D MkII.
Bruce is also a super talented photographer and videographer and an all around good guy.
