->> I'm researching Rain cover's for a Nikon 200-400.
I’d prefer to get a Think Tank Hydrophobia and wondered how it fits and how easy it is to zoom with the rain cover on.
How about the Aqua Tech ss-300?
Thanks. |

| ->> I have the Hydrophobia and use with my 400/2.8 and 200-400/4. It has two arm holes where you can put your hands inside the cover (which actually works nicely when it is cold and rainy out). This makes it quite easy to handle the zoom ring. The cover works much better in landscape orientation vs. portrait. It will work in portrait it just a tad more awkward. Overall though I've been happy with it. It is pricey at around $150, but when you consider a $9000 400/2.8 (or a $5000 200-400) and a $5000 D3 that it is protecting, I consider it a worthwhile investment. |

| ->> Strong second for the Hydrophobia recommendation. With the 200-400 I have no trouble zooming and switching back and forth from portrait to landscape. It's great that you can keep it rolled up on the lens hood until you actually need it. |
