Fort Hood/Wolf Blitzer

->> Someone reporting from Fort Hood mentioned "Dollar General" and it sounded as though Wolf Blitzer (on CNN) said, "Who's the Dollar General?" as if it was a person...

American citizen and their issues.

Thoughts and/or prayers, which ever you adhere to, to all the folks at Fort Hood and their Families.

Oh come on.

Why on earth do you blame politicians for a possible mistake by a news reader on CNN? That would be like someone blaming a newspaper's staff photographer for a paper boy that threw Sunday's edition in the bushes.

Oh. Sorry. It'd be worse than that as the photog and the paper boy are both employed by the paper.

->> Jim, four inappropriates in two posts! You da man!!!
I live in WV. The Dollar Store and the Family Dollar stores are all that some small towns like I live in have as far as variety retail stores go. I can drive 30 miles one way in three directions to get to a Wally World, or drive 3 minutes or 5 minutes on the same road to get to either DG or FD. Wolf needs to get out of the Beltway, off of the 4 or 6 lane, and hit a two lane road into the heart of America. We have a brand new Dollar General and it is my five year old's favorite local store.

->> Jim,

How you got that out of what I had written, wow, all I can say is unbelievable.

You are not working on the health care bill by chance are you? Where what is written and meant, is completely different then what is interpreted and said.

And if you are trying to guess, my statement works both ways,,,,,,,,,,,,,Jim, I mean which way I want it to go.

As said before my best to all the Fort Hood folks. Not one other poster has said a word about them?

May the sun always be at your back, good shooting.

My original post was about Wolf Blitzer, not one of the news industry's brighter lights. You took that little dig and went off on a tangent about politicians. It wasn't about politicians, most of whom are honest, hard working people that struggle to do the best job they can to help and support their constituents. Your attitude (pretty much started by Reagan in the 80's) that all politicians are evil does you and the nation no good. It only serves to reduce Americans' trust in their elected (key word) representatives. It's a shame.
