CAPTURE ONE PRO 5 - Copy and Apply ISSUE
Fabio Muzzi, Photographer

->> Hi everyone,

Last week I bought the latest version of this Raw converter.
I immediately noticed a bug about the function of Copy ( Adjustments ) from an image and Apply ( these Adjustments ) to another image that I selected.

In the previous version as 4.8.1....all worked fine !

I run CaptureOne pro 5 under Mac Os X Leopard ( 10.5.7 ) and on another configuration as Snow Leopard (10.6)

I already contacted Phaseone to explain this issue, but until now they replied to me without any results.

Could you please give any feedback about this specific issue?

THANKS a loto everyone,

Cheers,

Fabio Muzzi.

->> What exactly is happening when you copy and apply the adjustments? I just did this very same thing last night to some images and I didn't notice anything wrong. I am curious what you are seeing in case I missed something when I did it.

->> Hi Joseph,

Thanks for your e-mail.
As you already know because you are a corrent user of C1 Pro,
Inside the Regulation tab there is the possibility, at the bottom on this panel, two button.

One asked COPY and the other asked APPLY.

Once you finish to prepare, to adjust, to set your preferred changes regarding a specific image/file as color, contrast, balance, other........you could click into the COPY button to take in memory ( into the clipboard) all these data.

After, on another image/file that you have selected, you could to APPLY all these adjustments data previous COPY in memory.

That's all......but with my result that this newer file/Image don't take any changes. Nothing. nothing as color balance, contrast.....all.

I already did this kind of application in the older C1 versiona s 4.8.1......
All has been working fine. Until this new version.

With this new C1 PRO 5 version.......I can't able to COPY - APPLY the changes with this procedure.

Thanks for every aid.....

Ciao.

Fabio.

->> This is working fine for me. I am not sure what the Regulation tab is but I use the toolbar buttons for Copy/Paste (they are the up arrow/down arrow) and it works fine for me.

I am using a PC so that may be a bug in the Mac version.

->> Pardon the semi OT question. But did anyone upgrade from C14 pro to 5 pro? if so did you have any problems doing so?

I'm curious because Im trying to do just that and I'm having all kinds of issues on a Mac pro laptop, Intel 2.66. To date Phase one has moved me from Marketing to tech support and no luck so far.

Thanks

David
