->> Did any of our California shooters witness the security guard hitting Chris Park's camera with a helmet as JaMarcus Russel was leaving?
According to the caption on the wire photo, the guard hit the photographer's camera with the helmet.
Just curious...

| ->> I guess my question would be why is a Raiders employee trying to keep the credentialed press from taking photos of a player? Seems like AP needs to contact the front office! |

The way things are going for him in Raiderland it might be the only job he can get before long. |

->> Thanks Patrick.
If it were me, I'd be filing a police report simply for the insurance/damages to the camera.
Beyond that, it makes me grateful that i don't have to cover the Oakland Raiders. |

| ->> how surprising, of all NFL teams...one cat's whisker on the yellow line and it's DEFCON 4 with Raiders security. I had one security guard there tell me my LENS HOOD was over the line. |

->> This is now happening at High School games in WV! The last two games I shot I was told to 1:"be behind the line or in the parking lot". & 2: "You are in the impact zone".
Some people with a little authority are just little people in heart & brain. As if it is not hard enough out there already. |

| ->> Hi everyone. Yep I was there. The guy did indeed swing a helmet into my face while I was shooting. It was not at all out protection. The guy was obviously just a sore loser. I was standing at the entrance to the tunnel shooting raiders leaving the field. As Jamarcus came through I was able to get just those two frames as I was shooting a SLOW 5D. The guy actually took a step to the side just to reach me with the helmet. Only other proof I have is a bent lens hood on my 14mm. Thanks for the comment Jody!! Cheers, Chris |

| ->> Crazy - I had a police officer take a swing at my camera at the G20 - I saw him coming and he got my wrist instead - another lesson why you should shoot with both eyes open. |
