->> I've looked through the archives and can't seem to find any info on this...I have been requested to submit an image for use on a trading card for an Olympic Athlete. The request is coming from the athlete for Upper Deck cards. My question is should approach Upper Deck for usage, or should I bill the athlete. I also tried to price it out through photoshelter, but can find the specific usage, any ideas?
Thanks.
Todd. |

| ->> Upper Deck should be paying for it, I'd go through them and not the athlete. UD has set prices for usage last I dealt with them. |

| ->> Todd--You may want to think twice before selling your images to Upper Deck. At the present time their contract photographers, who work for them year-round, have not been paid for assignments since April. Many are owed over $20,000. |
