->> Just found out that SI photographer Peter Read Miller will be speaking at the Hoosier State Press Association Better Newspaper Contest shin-dig on Dec. 5 in Indy. His seminar is from 9:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
I understand there's also a free photo session/pizza night with PRM and the Indy Star on Dec. 4. It's sponsored by Canon. You may want to skip sleeping in after a Friday night of basketball and hit Nap Town instead ... |

(Me, I'm interested in not having car trouble this year. Two years ago the tranny in my Explorer blew up and last year I had to rescue some co-workers whose car crapped out in the ice storm.) |

Alan, good luck and hope you have an uneventful trip this year. I missed last year because the newspaper that ran my image didn't tell me about the banquet after their sports editor quit and we started up a magazine. David Cantor's video link in the Todd Drexler post reminded me of them.
Chris, thanks for the info. What is the topic of Vincent LaForet's presentation? Any link to more info about it? |

1. Just heard that Vincent Laforet has had to cancel his visit to Muncie on Tues Nov 3. They are hoping to reschedule for January.
Is this true? Anyone in the know have more information? |
