->> A school I shoot for is looking at MyCapture and Zenfolio to display school activities, take orders and send prints to customers.
Any thoughts on these two or other resources?
Thanks, |

->> Personally I like Exposure Manager a lot better than any of the other sites I looked into including Zenfolio, though have not looked at MyCapture. Every time I try to compare ExpMan to another site they win out for my personal needs.
We're trying to get a store set up for a JC I'm doing stuff for this semester and there's also programs you can buy/install into the schools site that would work and save money in the long run. Of course then you have to self-fulfill everything. If it's just prints and you want someone else to handle it then look at ExpMan. |

->> In the past I've used Printroom, but since then I've switched to Photoshelter- www.chasefoto.com
I love how simple it is to place orders and none of my customers are very happy with the print quality.
You can't beat how easy it is to customize your site too!

| ->> I use Exposure Manager. Its only $50/year(50% off) for SS members and that was too cheap for me to pass up. It lets you use your own domain photos.yourdomain.com and you lets you re-upload all images sold. So, you only have to edit the ones you are selling. |

| ->> Zenfolio is wonderful. I use the Lightroom plugin to send images to the site for my university photos. |

Oops! I meant to say that none of my customers have had had problems. In fact I've received many messages about great quality and quick turnaround.
Cheers,

| ->> Brian, is that SportsShooter discount still only for the first year, or have they made it valid on subsequent years also? I just renewed mine, and they charged me the full 80 bucks. |

| ->> EM has been great for local youth sports stuff. Photoshelter is, without question, awesome but I think that for your needs EM provides a great service at a very good price. In addition, prints from EM are excellent. I've had nothing but rave reviews from customers about the quality of their prints. |

| ->> Meant to add that I've been using the Photoshelter free trial simply because of the customization, SEO, pricing models, licensing and usage models, and overall integration with web sites, blogs, etc. It is simply, hands-down, AWESOME! I've been looking at it for use to license editorial content and stock images. However, in your case it may be overkill. |

->> Backprint.com for their email and marketing tools. I can notify 10 or 10,000 customers that the images of an event are available and 1-click take them to their individual gallery page for easy ordering.
Slick interface, easy to use & customize to my brand. |
