| ->> Anyone have any experience with this pack? What can you really get in the camera compartment? Anywhere close to a 5D, 70-200, 16-35 and 50 f/1.2? |

->> You could probably get that setup in the camera compartment. I love many of the mountainsmith products I have owned - their Tour waistpack is one of the best I've ever used, and holds up great. That being said, I was extremely underwhelmed by the Borealis I purchased (a purchase I made based on my past experience with Mountainsmith products). The stitching began pulling apart within a month of purchase, the pull tabs on the zipper broke almost immediately, and the pack was not as supportive and streamlined as I had hoped. Overall, it doesn't even seem like it was made by the same company that produces the fantastic waist packs many of us here enjoy.
I'm not trying to bash Mountainsmith - as I said, they make many great products. I just don't think the Borealis AT is one of them. |

->> Broderick, another option if you're looking for a hiking/photo bag is some of the F-Stop stuff found at http://www.fstopgear.com/
They seem to get some good reviews on user boards.
Best of luck! |
