->> The worst part? The D2 on his arm is in Program!
If you are serious about shooting and love your gear that much why the hell would you get "program" inked to your arm for all eternity?
Personally if I ever got a tattoo, and am never going to get a tattoo, I'd get a Nikon F3hp with MD-4 and Nikkor 18f3.5 Ai-S. I had thought about it a while back and really if I am getting something permanently inked to my skin its going to be an F3hp & 18f3.5. |

Then there's program mode.. |

| ->> Fish, I would go for a Nikon F, with the F non Meter Prism, F-36 Motor Drive and Battery Grip with the 35mm f/2.0, I used this combination in Puerto Rico in 1981 at the riots at the University of PR, when the shooting started, I was right there in the middle with that one camera!! |

->> OK, I'm going to hijack this thread:
If you did get a photo-oriented tattoo, what would it be?
If I wimped out, it would be a lens aperture set to f/8 over the words "Be There"
If I went all in I'd get "Moonrise Over Hernandez, New Mexico" across my back.

->> Mark Loundy boldly asked "If you did get a photo-oriented tattoo, what would it be?"
Mark,
As stated above, it would be a Nikon F3hp with MD-4 and Nikkor 18f3.5 Ai-S. The prism would have heavy brassing and there'd be a a few dents.
Years ago I thought about this question, although I'll never get a tattoo, and the answer has always been the same. A tattoo is for life and a Nikon F3 is for life. |

->> Years ago I bought a film strip stencil with it's own ink. I used it as a pattern and had a film strip tattoo done around my arm. Over the years, I have had parts of my life that are important to me tattood into each frame of the film strip. There are 11 frames and each has a real simple graphic.
Just like photographers, you want to hire the best tattoo artist possible. |

I have an aperture (around f/5.6, it appears) on my back. It's about 3" in diameter, and I love it. When I showed my mother, she asked, "so when does it wash off?" Oops... :) |
