Calibrating D3 batteries

->> On Both the MH21 & MH22 chargers hold the Cal On button for maybe 5 secs. then the light should go steady on I believe. Calibration takes about 4-10 hours I believe.

->> The "Calibration on" light will blink if calibration is recommended but normal charging will start if you don't press it and hold it to confirm calibration.

Calibration takes a long time, longer than 10 hours if I remember right, so if you can go without the battery for a while and want to calibrate it, hold the "Calibration ON" button down while it is blinking and the light changes to steady while calibrating.

The R or L battery slot light will continue blink on an MH-22 until calibration is complete.

->> The length of time needed for calibration includes the time it takes to slowly deplete the charge of the battery down to the calibration point. After that, a full recharge takes place. You can decrease the overall time it takes for the calibration cycle by starting with a significantly discharged battery.
