Nikon shutter count

| ->> It has been a while since I've seen any info on how to get the shutter actuation count from a Nikon. Can somone give me the name of SW for the MAC that will do this for D2 & D3 models? |

->> As the other George posted, at least in Windows Photoshop you can get the shutter count by opening a RAW image and from the menu click;

| ->> If you're using Photo Mechanic you can insert the {act} or the actuations variable into any IPTC field, I prefer ones that I'm not using at the time, like IPTC subject code, then it will populate the shutter actuations of that frame into that field. You can also do that any time by inserting {act} into that field and clicking "OK", then go back to the IPTC and you'll see the actuations count. |
