The babies eat the plastic and eventually die. There are images at Chris' site, chrisjordan.com There is video and more images at a blog, http://www.midwayjourney.com/ Really interesting project. You're right Erik, the images are very impactful. If anyone is wondering what the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is, just Google it or check out this link ... http://science.howstuffworks.com/great-pacific-garbage-patch.htm This whole situation is so incredibly tragic and senseless.
