Airport Friendly Laptop Bags
Michael Myers, Photographer
Miami Beach | FL | USA | Posted: 9:27 AM on 10.17.09
->> I recently learned about a new way of inspecting your laptop when you go through airport security. I know this is already in place in Miami, but I'm not sure about the rest of the country.

Laptop bags can now be made with the laptop going in a separate compartment, with a clear viewing screen on top. You open the bag, and place it flat on the conveyor when checking in at an airport. There's no need to remove the laptop from the bag.

Here's a link that explains things in detail:

It seems to me to be a wonderful idea - one less hassle when traveling, and your computer is less likely to "go missing" while on the security belt at the airport. (Of course, a thief can steal the whole bag, but that will draw more attention as it's larger.)

(I did a search here to see if this has already been posted, and didn't find anything - it's such a convenient idea, I'm surprised it hasn't' already been posted.)
