Waterproof bags??

->> Anyone have any experience with a DiCAPac WPH10 or any other waterproof bag?
http://www.amazon.com/DiCAPac-WPH10-Waterproof-High-End-Cameras/dp/B00212S3...

I would be using a 1D or 5D with standard prime lens. I don't own a point and shoot.

I'm not about to take any pictures below 3 feet deep, but I want a safe, inexpensive way to take photos on the surface of the water. I'm not a diver and don't need a $5000 waterproof housing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Beck

->> I don't think I'd trust this with an expensive camera. I believe I bought this same brand for a point-n-shoot camera at a yard sale, the guy was going to give it to me for free but I gave him $2.

It had a ziploc type seal and the roll-up with some velcro as described. But here's the weird thing, the front barrel where the lens goes screws off!

I haven't tried it yet other than to put my pocket HD camcorder in it and blast it with a water hose, worked fine.

I'd trust an Ewa-Marine in shallow water but not this DiCAPac if it too has a screw on barrel. There's no o-ring on any part of the screw-off barrel.
