Firing a Nikon D70/D90 (MiniUSB remote) via PocketWizard?

I know this is possible because I've heard rumors of the legendary Scott Andrews pulling this off before he left NPS for CPS.....
I want to take a D70 or D90 or one of the lower-end Nikon cameras and remotely fire it with a pocket-wizard or some other remote triggering device (ala zip-cord and add-a-taps) that would normally require using the 10-pin terminal.
The big problem here is that the remote terminal for the low-end Nikon stuff is some sort of Mini-USB instead of the normal 10-pin that I've been using ever since Nikon went that way.
Now is there some sort of adapter out there that will allow either this quirky mini-USB to connect to 10-pin or household?
The goal is to use the D70s/D90/Cheaper Camera as a remote body instead of the D1 series. I cant afford to get D200/D300/D3 etc., but i can find D70s cheap enough. |
