->> I'm out of touch with the P&S world, and my daughter wants to upgrade her picture taking potential. Any suggestions for something in the $200 - $250 range? Brand isn't a factor, quality is

->> Olympus makes a great camera for college students. It is waterproof, shockproof, etc. It makes a great camera for carrying around everywhere. I've got one and it works great. It's survived 5 pools, several bars, and several drop.

| ->> Canon PowerShot SX110 IS. Used mine at a wedding this summer (as a family member) and it wasn't a IIn, but it got great results for a p&S. I really like the 10x optical. |
