AYSO experiences?

->> Howdy youth action shooters (or anyone else that feels like chiming in)

Recently I talked to the "photo mom" for the local AYSO region about taking action photos of the league. They already have a T&I photog so this pertains specifically to the action shots.

She put me in touch with the regional president who referred me to their national website for contact info. Apparently there is some very specific training and authorization required to shoot AYSO. Its ironic that any schmo can hang out in the park with bad intentions but the guy carrying 23 pounds of camera gear and wearing a shirt with his company name on it has to be scrutinized extra carefully - I suppose I don't mind all that so much if I could just get them to return my attempts to contact them.

Sorry for the mini-rant but does anyone have advice for who to contact in order to get the proper verification for officially shooting AYSO?

Thanks in advance,

EMI
