->> I took my 400 2.8 and MarkIIN into Canon to have it calibrated as it was front focusing. They fixed it but I noticed that they wiped out all my settings. I had person function setting 30 set to ON so with the switch in the back I can lock the aperture and shutter speed. Now when I set PF30 to ON it wont let me set anything. When I turn it off, I can set everything but the aperture. When I turn the wheel on the back, the aperture doesn't change. AM I missing something or is something broken and is there a trip back to Canon in my future?

->> If you can't set the aperture at all, call Canon they should email you a prepaid shipping label to send it back. I had a shutter replaced on my 1ds MII and when I got it back the aperture wheel was acting up and eventually stopped working all together. I called them up and sent it back in, they fixed it.

->> This may be totally stupid --- but the switch for the wheel is in the "on" position, right? They didn't switch it off for you at Canon?
