->> Hi,
I'm covering Colts there next week, and want to know what the transmitting situation is. According to The Guide, it had spotty wi-fi three years ago, and want to know what the status is currently.
Thanks in advance,
-Bob |

->> When I was there for the NCAA Sweet Sixteen and Elite eight [it might be different for NFL] we had to pay for a wifi connection, purchase a hard line for $$$, or I used my Sprint 3G card that was fantastic from the photo work room.
That said, when I was there, the stadium was not as packed as an NFL game - so networks could be overwhelmed vs. the NCAA's.. with a smaller crowd.
Good Luck! |

->> NCAA Internet is different from everyday at an arena. The NCAA sets up and charges for the network on a fixed rate for each arena.
At the Super Bowl at that stadium cell modems did not work well at all. Actually not well is an overstatement. They pretty much did not work. |

->> Typically there is still the spotty wireless in the very small photo work room and there are a limited number of wired spot that are either reserved (AP, AZ Republic, etc.) or on a first-come first-serve basis.
Patrick's experience with the NCAAs are not applicable to a normal NFL day. |
