->> Tested Snow Leopard one of my macs to snow leopard and having trouble with Quickbooks 2007. Called quickbooks and was told I had to upgrade to QB 2009. Anyone heard of a workaround for this or am I just SOL? Kind of sucks a $29 os upgrade forces a $155 QB upgrade.

->> It was asking me to reregister the software and then would give me an error saying to call QB tech support. Then I got a message that said I could use it 15 times without registering. I'm using it on a 13" unibody MacBook Pro and just migrated from my 15" mbp and installed snow leopard. Not a huge deal now because I'm still using the 15". Just curious if anyone else had an issue.

->> I'm using Quickbooks 2007 on a Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard - no problems. I remember having a registration issue with a Windows version a few years ago - it was finally resolved but not without a good bit of hassle.

I can't imagine why you would need to upgrade.

->> For what its worth, I figured out the problem. I migrated to a new Macbook Pro and installed snow leopard before launching and re-registering Quickbooks under OS 10.5. I just re-migrated to the new macbook and this time launched and registered Quickbooks before performing the Snow Leopard install. Everything is working fine now.
