I am loading the CR2 RAW files from a G10 onto a PC running WIN XPpro SP3. Note... I am not having trouble with these files using DPP, ACR, LR, PM or any other RAW processing program. This question has to do with MS Explorer exclusively. I cannot get any RAW CR2 files from my G10 to appear as thumbnails when looking at a folder of images in MS Explorer. My 5DmI files appear as thumbnails without issue. I did some research and found that I might be missing a Codec (V 1.5) so I downloaded it from Canon . This, however, did not allow the G10 files to be seen as thumbs in MS Explorer and it also made the 5DmI files not visible as thumbs. So I re-installed the Canon RAWViewer and my 5D files were back visible as thumbs but still not luck with the G10. I am stuck and have had no luck finding any fixes online that allow me to see BOTH my 5dmI and G10 CR2 RAW files as thumbs in WinXP. I am hoping maybe some SS member has found a way to make both G10 and 5DmI thumbnail files visible in MS Explorer. Thanks!  This post is:  Informative (0) | Funny (0) | Huh?
