How far you want to go (ie. .info, .me, etc.) probably depends on time and cost. I think it's more cost effective to register common misspellings of your your name / domain (such as EricMarkov.com instead of ErikMarkov.com) rather than extending your reach to less well-known extensions such as .info, .tv, .mobi, .me etc. You could also consider registering generic keyword domains relevant to your site / company.  This post is:  Informative (1) | Funny (0) | Huh?
