Interesting Story Behind Iconic Album Photo..

->> I've been seeing a lot of TV commercials lately featuring the Beatles' Abbey Road album shot.
Out of curiosity, I did some Internet surfing to see the story behind the Beatles: Rock Band game.
I discovered that the photo shoot for the album cover took place on August 8, 1969. The photographer had ten minutes to do the shoot. The Beatles, who were together to record their final album, walked back and forth cross the street several times. Six photos were taken. Just looking at the photos, it's almost sheer luck that the photographer managed to get a somewhat synchronized image of the Beatles walking--despite Paul McCartney being out of step.
I came across this web site with all the photos and some other photos taken during the ten minute break.
It's such a simple set-up...four guys walking across the street became the arguably the most iconic album cover in music history. What's especially interesting is that the album cover did not include the album title or the Beatles' name..
Here's a link to a site with the photos taken that day.. You'll have to click the thumbnail selection at the bottom of the screen..
