| ->> If I remember correctly, it's on the installer disk and has to be installed separately. Once installed, it will be under File>Automate. Look under goodies on your disk. |

I had the same problem, and there is a rather involved way to do it in Bridge, but if you go to:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4048
one of the plug-ins is "Picture Package" which apparently will give you the old contact sheet. I have not done this yet, but will soon. Good Luck!

I tried reading the Read Me file, but it's trying to teach me how to install the whole software, I just want to know where to put these files (Goodies)

->> From the Photoshop CS4 install disc, drop the //#language#/Goodies/Optional Plug- Ins/Automate/ContactSheetII plug-in into the //Adobe Photoshop CS4/Plug-ins/Automate folder (this is for both Contact Sheet and Picture Package).
From the Photoshop CS4 install disc, drop the //#language#/Goodies/Presets/Layouts folder into the //Adobe Photoshop CS4/Presets folder and restart Photoshop.
Instructions are from another forum. |

->> Dan, it's working great!!
Thanks for the Help!!
It's a shame that so many people use Photoshop and don't know this fact!! I didn't!! Everyone keeps sending me to Bridge, which IMHO is the biggest piece of crap in the world!! You have to jump through giant hoops to make a stupid contact sheet!!
Thanks again for the info!!

->> Thanks to Chris Large I learned how to do Contact Sheets on Photo Mechanic
Here's what you do...
1- Open the Folder that you want to contact in Photo Mechanic.
2- Select All Images
3- File>Print
4- In the print setting box, click your cursor in the "thumbnail title" box then click on "Variables" at the bottom right corner. This will open a drop down box. Double click on the line that says" filenamebase, fbas" . Now what ever name/number you have given your images will show up on the printed contact sheet.
5- Use the header box to put the job, the client etc, then use the footer box for your info.
Margins .20 by .20
Title line height 1
Rows 3, colums 3 ( or what ever you want depending on size)
Use each Thumbnail orientation
Click - draw border around....
Page margins 0.00
No color matching out put only checked
Resolution 240
Use jpeg
Render Raw if possible
Initial page 1
6- You can either Print or save as a PDF.
Cool, eh??
Lots easier and faster than the Photoshop Contact Sheet II and millions of times faster and easier than Bridge!!
I love Photo Mechanic!!
Thanks Chris for the lesson!!

->> Revisiting this question as it is extremely simple to do from Bridge CS4:
Select your images in Bridge.
Click OUTPUT (top of window in between METADATA and KEYWORDS)
A new panel will appear on the right of your images. Select PDF (you have the choice between PDF or WEB GALLERY)
Choose your template from the pull down menu and then click "Refresh Preview" and you'll see immediatly how it will look.
You can input your watermark, change the color of background, change the size of the paper, etc... All of that in seconds.
Click "Save" and you are done.

| ->> In CS3 or CS4 in Bridge just select the images you want then go to TOOLS > PHOTOSHOP > CONTACT SHEET II and tell it what size paper you want to print on and away you you. |
