->> Wow...considering the number of photographers I see involved in Fantasy leagues and other online gambling/gaming pools, I'd be sure there'd be some conversation on this.
So...where's the line? Is there a line? Are fantasy leagues or other gambling pools ethical and acceptable for sports photographers who cover a sport? Is it acceptable if you don't shoot at that level? Like if you only shoot prep and NCAA div II, are Div I and NFL pools OK? If you shoot the NFL, should you be involved in NFL gambling pools?
I've never been big into pools or fantasy leagues, but it seems that this is an issue that deserves to be talked about. Can you be completely objective in sports journalism, while having a vested financial interest in the outcome? |

->> I don't see the big deal in this. We the media do not have a direct impact on who wins or who loses. Now, I don't shoot pro stuff, but I occasionally shoot D-1 sports. I am totally focused on my task at hand and not my NCAA pool.
Now if you want to talk about those who officiate the game, that's a completely different topic all together. |

| ->> The other 60% don't make enough money to be able to afford to gamble on sports. |
