->> I'm planning on posting online slideshows to Hawgs Illustrated's Scout.com website during the football season. Does anyone have some good ideas for online apps that work well, but are simple to use. Something that has a play function, but can also let viewers scroll through the images at their own pace.
Any help would be appreciated.

->> Slideshow Pro is definitely worth a look.

You can do both video and stills and it's reasonably priced. |

| ->> I like using simpleviewer. It doesn't have a play button but it works well. You can make a simpleviewer gallery from photo mechanic. |

| ->> you could use a photoshelter embeddable slideshow. then when users click on the image, they could buy a print (assuming that's allowed -- otherwise, ignore me completely). |

->> Marc,
I've used http://www.vuvox.com/ a couple of times in the past. Not the greatest or easiest software to work with, but I thought I would throw it out there. |

->> I agree with Patrick...VuVox's "collage" concept might be worth considering. Although I wonder if the interface could be more intuitive.
Here's an example of images and a simple video where I've embedded the collage in a blog entry:

Also, you might consider AutoViewer which is a cousin to SimpleViewer. Here's an AutoViewer example:

Both of these allows for disabling "right click" to protect the images. |
