RAW processing with CS4

->> I've had an infrequent but reoccurring problem with my Canon 5D and 1D3 files when processed in CS4 that I'm hoping someone knows a solution too. When processing with Adobe Camera Raw, into CS4, in some images (100-200 iso) I am getting intense luminance noise in the shadows. However if I process the same file through Canon's Digital Photo Professional software, they come out looking just fine, with more shadow detail and no noise. I'm using the "Adobe Standard" profile in ACR, which seems to give the best results. It should be noted that the problem occurs without any increase in brightness, etc. that would normally cause noise, the file is basically left alone. This isn't a frequent problem, but it happened again today and got me thinking. Anyone know a way around this?

If this description isn't clear let me know, hard thing to describe, maybe I'll post some 100% crops if necessary.

Thanks!
