My first video --- kind of

->> I'm curious to know what others (besides the wife and kid and their biased views) think of a video I'm working on and plan to use as 1 of a few templates this coming high school sports season. Its hard to tell when you're making it but I did notice a few things once I rendered it. The opening needs cut down a bit. I framed the pictures and did it different on some of them to see how they look with the frame loose and tight. I also need to fade the ending audio and video but I wanted to get some opinions. The video is on my member page. Also note that it is a wide screen video but the SS page upload appears to have done a center cut. So pretend the edges are there. The video isn't your typical soundslides slideshow. I was going for a high impact flashy video to draw in more readership to my website.

ThANKS,
Joe

->> I can see this style presentation getting GREAT reaction at a booster club dinner. If it were for say a soft-sell presentation for a spa and golf club gated community the music and lensflare and outerspace b/g would be a bit over the top. But for the HS football crowd it has energy.

Frames should either be tight, or 'float' on all four sides. The two sides tight/two sides loose looks unpolished.

Font treatment: The white font/white frame overlap doesn't work well. Add non-gray (brighter-maybe team color-for example) dropshadow/edge effects to the lettering to give a more dimensional feel.

->> Thanks for the input Jack. My next step was to try some different font types and I do plan to use team colors come go time. I wanted to see if others felt as I do about the type of video compared to what is usually done.I have a few more template ideas in mind and plan to rotate between them and between the 2 schools I cover.

Thanks again,
Joe
