Is this a bad sign for all of us shooting sports??

How long do you think it will take before they develop this for print media outlets to use the HD stills or "imagery" as they call it in the article.

I couldn't find the commercials online. So if anybody finds them please share.

With the cutbacks newspaper are having, it's still very feasible and efficient for photographer to go out and grab some stills, rather than scanning through lots of video for a 5-10 frames they wants.

->> Maybe it's me, but the image in the NYT article doesn't look good at all. If newspapers and magazines start printing those instead of shots that originated as stills, I'm going to start canceling subscriptions and looking elsewhere for my Monday morning coverage.
