Celeb photo advice/question....

->> Any advice/suggestions on how to approach a celeb publication in regard to shots of a popular celebrity, and pitching the shots and asking price? This is not my niche whatsoever, but after shooting the celeb i thought it might be of interest to certain celeb publications/news agencies. Not really asking who to call, I know the publications to contact (unless there are specific photo editors anyone would suggest), but more specifically, I am curious if there is a price range I should be keeping in mind, as well as if certain pubs might compensate better than others (not to sound materialistic).
Thanks in advance---

Price range? All depends the size, how great is the photo, pub circulation, how important at the moment is this celeb and how intimate is the shoot. A home set up or location will bring you more than a photo taken by 100 paparazzi outside a club unless the actor is the "star of the moment" and is caught naked in the back of the club with another woman/man besides his wife or girlfriend. That case it wouldnt matter if the photo is even sharp.
Your last question is a yes. Why would your local Sunflower of the South Magazine pays you the same top $$$ as GQ or People Mag??
