Use biddingfortravel or betterbidding to find out what each class is going for; then you know where to bid for the type of car. Works very well for hotels, too as well as for Hotwire. People post their winning and losing bids. It has saved me thousands of dollars. Keep in mind, I don't stay in anything less than a 3*. Cars I usually go compact, but you'll see all types of cars listed by class. Let me know if you need some bidding assistance.
