Slideshow: multiple photographers, multiple audio tracks

->> I've been asked to help put together a slideshow containing the work of several different photographers, each having their own audio track.
I am not stranger to producing multimedia pieces and slideshows, but I have never collected a bunch of work like this and tried to display it before.
I don't want to use something like SoundSlides because I have multiple audio tracks.
Right now I'm leaning towards doing this in Final Cut and then just projecting it as a QT movie, but I'm open to suggestions.
Any ideas?

->> Chris,
I use multiple audio tracks all of the time. Interviews, natural sound etc...I edit them and produce a final track in Garage Band. It's a simple program that works real nice. After that I import my photos and the final audio track into Sound Slides Plus and produce the final audio slide show. Unless, I'm not understanding what you mean by multiple audio tracks. So far it's been great...Dan. |

| ->> Yeah Chris that's the best and easiest way to do it. My slide shows often have many different audio tracks and the only way to do that in SoundSlides is to edit all the audio first and then lay the images to them which in your case would be painful to do. |

->> If you already have and can use Final Cut, then I would just use that to assemble everything and export as a Quicktime movie. But if you want to use SoundSlides for the ease of dumping the photos in the timeline and applying transitions but are worried about the multiple audio tracks then I'd follow Mr. Powers' advice. If you don't have Final Cut, you could use Garage Band or Audacity, a free audio editor, to mix the multiple audio tracks into one track that you could plug into SoundSlides.
SoundSlides is obviously going to be easier and take less time, but since you're dealing with having to mix tracks and it sounds like you already have Final Cut, I would just stick with it for this project. But I wouldn't let the multiple audio tracks cause panic. |

->> Guys,
Thanks for the help.
I have done a lot of audioslideshows using the methods mentioned in your posts. However, this is slightly different in that I'm taking a bunch of photos from a bunch of different photographs and putting it into one big slideshow with different tracks for each slideshow. You COULD do that in garageband or SoundTrack or whatever, I was looking for something really easy.
A friend of mine just told me that the program used by the Festival of the Photograph and some of the David Allen Harvey workshops is called "Fotomagico." It has an imovie-like interface and looks like it will do the job very quickly.
So, I'm going to look into that.
Thanks again,
