->> Hi all,
I'm trying to transmit computerless.
I got my Cradlepoint PHS 300 last week. I was able to make a network connection and create a ftp profile for the D3.
How do I get the WT-4a to see the cradlepoint network?
Thanks in advance.

->> In the D3 set up (you are best using the wizard on teh computer for this) you need to set it up as a wireless connection.
You then need to set up the network name being broadcast by the PHS and put in any security level and password.
It is basically like setting up you computer to use a wireless network. The computer must know the SSID (network broadcast name) and password for the wireless network to connect to it and then get out to the Internet.
Also, in the PHS controls you need to turn off the User Log-In feature. This is confusing. You still need a password to log into the router, but the User Log-In is a feature like you find at hotels (and Starbucks) -- when you launch your browser a page comes up that you must put in another password. The WT-4 does not play nicely with this so that level of security must be turned off. |
