Past three months have been a down right blur. Well today I pulled out the June NPPA News photograher magazine to get a good read on. I fell out of my chair laughing so hard after reading page 20 (Mark Loundy's) common sense piece. When I got to the ugly section of the good, the bad and the ugly ( my favorite part each month) I found my former employer Sound Publishing listed on there as the worst freelance contract out there for photographers. Here is what was printed. The Ugly - Hush Society magazine for soliciting "intern" videographers and photographers for a 16-hour per week commitment. The pay: Credit only. - Sound Publishing for their rights-grabbing $20.00 per published "Pic" freelancer agreement.
