->> I'll be driving down from Denver for an August 2nd-8th workshop with Norman Mauskopf. Anyone else going then?
Any recommendations on cheap lodging, good eats, things to see, etc.?
Other comments on the Sante Fe workshop experience?
Shoot me an email if you're going to be around that week, it would be great to meet up! |

->> When I worked in Albuquerque, I often made the trip north to eat at the Cowgirl. I am sure there are plenty of great places to eat, but this was my favorite.

->> Ritas and burgers at Del Charro are good.
The Cobb salad at San Francisco St. Bar and Grill is good.
Burgers and beer at Blue Corn are good.
The fajita guy on the southeast corner of the plaza and the aquas frescas guy on the northeast corner make for a great combo, I might have my directions wrong there though.
The cowgirl is good as well.
Lots of other good food.
Things to see: just about every gallery they have there. Tourists are fun to watch too, they do silly things. |

->> Stop by in Chama, NM just south of the Colo. border, and visit my mom's art gallery The Blue Heron Gallery. You will see pottery with nature scenes of my photos! Buy one! They need the money!
(just sayin...!)
I third the Cowgirl! |

->> I am going for the Joe McNally workshop starting next week. I have been to Santa Fe Worshops for classes before this.
Tomasita's near the train station is one of my favorite places (and the Cowgirl is good too). |
