->> Transcend have relased a SUPER 8gb 600x compact flash card this week. I get my today and test it on Nikon D3.

And i say WOW. Result amazing.

48 picture in 9/s sek speed (Sandisk Extreme IV,36 picture)

After that the camera was able to take aprox 5 picture per second directly write to the card (Sandisk Extreme IV, aprox 3 picture per second)

Now i dont need to upgrade my buffert memory on my D3

REVOLUTION by Trancend i must say

->> Thanks...doesn't look like they accept orders from outside Sweden, unfortunately. I'll just have to wait on the USA distribution channels to catch up, it looks like.

Does anyone have any insight on currently available CF cards with respect to the issue of write speed and improving the efficiency of emptying the F3 buffer?

If I can invest in some 600x speed (or faster such as the 675x hoodman) cards it seems to make more sense than investing in a larger buffer, given the age now of the D3.
