| ->> rubber cement - its the standard for setting things on fire. It makes good flames and if you put it out quickly, the cement just scrapes off and you recoat it. Works well if you have an assistant to help with lighting and extinguishing. |

->> Aluminum transfers heat, wood - not so much. the foam/rubber grip also may absorb some heat and that could be painful.
Use wood, but not my Mickey Mantle signature model. |
