The Kalish 2009
Danny Gawlowski, Photographer

->> We just wrapped up The Kalish 2009 this week. It was amazing. Participants in the workshop's twentieth year came from around the world - from newspapers, magazines, wire services, universities, and the freelance world. They were writers, picture editors, photographers, graphic designers and multimedia gurus. Here's a link to a slideshow of images produced by SS member Kevin Martin:

And here's a fun piece I produced from Photo Booth images:

And here's where to go so that you can be a part of it next year:

->> Leadership, decision-making, and articulation are Kalish's cornerstones. It topped every workshop experience for me thus far. It sets itself apart with instructors who deeply care about the material and you, the participant.
