->> Hi all!
I'm looking at doing a time lapse this weekend. Unfortunately the D200 I've used in the past is not available to me. I have a pair of MultiMaxes and heard that it's possible to set up a time lapse function using these. Anyone know how to do this or can direct me to an article to read?
Thanks you very much for any input! |

->> Hey Hannah!
You want to use the Intervalometer feature on the multimax,
Check out the manual for your specific model of PW here:
http://www.pocketwizard.com/support/manual/
And you should just be able to search for that feature in the PDF :)

| ->> I have had problems with using the multimax's for time lapse as they "drop" frames from time to time. I just bought the interval timer for the Canon cameras and have not had any problems yet!! Well worth the money and headaches if you do a lot of time exposures. |

->> I've used the MM intervolometer function on numerous cameras --- including my G10 --- and have not experienced any problems like the above poster.
Maybe I am a little less exacting or picky. But it seemed to work very well for me in numerous shoots and situations. |

| ->> Thanks guys! Just set up a mini time lapse in my apartment and everything seems to be working perfectly! Should be a great addition to a multimedia piece I'm working on this weekend. |

->> Hanah,
Here's an example of a time lapse project using the Intervalometer on the Pocket Wizard. It shows the transition from a hockey floor to a basketball court.

->> Hannah, I just shot a time lapse for the Vikings website. It was of their playground build using a Canon 1D and 70-200 along with a MultiMax. I took one shot every 15 seconds for 6 hours. One important thing to consider is power to the camera, I used an AC adaptor plugged into extension cords. Their media group assembled the show. Let me know if you have any questions. It all worked perfectly.
Its in the Media Center tab on their main page, 4th one down under Vikings build playground in 60 seconds. |
