Compare Nikon Coolscan IV and V, used

| ->> I still have slides that needs scanning and need a USB film scanner, used. I see them on Ebay for $400(IV) and $700 for the V. Any advice? |

->> Don't know about the IV, but I have a V. It has Digital Ice and works fine with my Mac Mini G4 running OS 10.5.7. Prior to this, I had a SCSI LS-20 on an old Mac 8600. The V is a great improvement in speed. The only thing missing with a V vs. a 5000 is the slide stacker. No big deal, as if you like to work with your images one at a time.
