->> Pittsburgh, that is, winners of Lord Stanley's Cup. The following is, of course, just my opinion.
First, there is no better trophy in sports than the Stanley Cup. There's only one, and the Penguins have it for this year. Second, there is no better trophy presentation than the Stanley Cup. The tradition/superstition is that a player will not touch the cup until they have won it, so when Crosby got to hoist the cup it was really something special. Finally, I enjoyed seeing Greg Shaumus (Penguins team photographer) on the ice at the end. Hope he gets a ring! |

| ->> John, wouldnt it not be the grestest thing in the world if we could watch a Ohio team win a championship so we can get those pictures? That is all I know I would love to see Ohio get a winner soon, pictures of heartbroken fans are getting really painful to look at. |

->> Jack,
After you've been in Pgh a bit longer you'll know that a riot is what happens in Morgantown after a W.Va football win.
What you observed was probablly more of a ballyhoo.... |

->> It feels good over here, John! :D
And John, does Greg get a ring? From what I've heard he's not "technically" their team photographer. They had a team photographer and assistants and then they got rid of them and had Getty cover all the games. I'm not saying he won't, I was just curious because I have heard many stories on how that all works. I think he deserves one though! |
